Brandon Honda owner John Marazzi and his family have long had a passion for dogs. Not just any dogs. Rescue dogs. Not long ago, John strolled into Hyde Park Pet Shop where it was featuring dogs from the Elizabeth's Animal Rescue Sanctuary Inc. (E.A.R.S.). Zeus leapt into his heart. His mother had been dropped off at a kill shelter two weeks before the birth of her pups and was rescued by the kind folks at E.A.R.S. in Odessa, FL. Zeus is a Catahoula Leopard dog that is more often found on farms and ranches, protecting livestock and property rather than protecting Hondas.

Zeus has now captured all our hearts and is our new mascot. He has a new dog walk at Brandon Honda and will be here daily to greet visitors. He invites his canine friends to stop by for a visit to see his new digs and meet all the friendly folks at the store. Could be a doggie treat involved for extra good behavior!
